The Blue Jays snapped a three-game skid with a 5-2 victory over the Diamondbacks on Wednesday. Toronto is one of just four AL teams with a better win percentage on the road (.553) than at home (.528); the others are Tampa Bay, Seattle and Los Angeles.

Chicago was unable to complete a four-game sweep at Boston on Thursday, losing, 8-7, in 10 innings. The White Sox have now totaled three wins in their last four games after recording just four wins in their previous 15 games.

The White Sox have won seven of their last eight games against the Blue Jays dating back to May 27, 2015, including a three-game sweep at Toronto in April earlier this season. Over those eight games, Chicago has scored over twice as many runs as Toronto (40-19).

Aaron Sanchez pitched six innings in his last start on Friday, giving up just two earned runs in a win over the Orioles. Since April 22, Sanchez is 6-0, leading Blue Jays starters with 66 strikeouts.

Carlos Rodon threw 6.1 innings of two-run ball on Sunday, en route to a no-decision in Cleveland (a game Chicago lost in extra innings). The White Sox have lost eight of Rodon's last nine starts, despite averaging over four runs per Rodon start.

Josh Donaldson is batting .467 (14-for-30) with a 1.568 OPS over his past eight games (since June 14), the highest OPS in MLB over that span and a career-best OPS for an eight-game span. Since the start of 2015, Donaldson is batting .405 (15-for-37) with six homers against the White Sox.
