The Blue Jays visit New York for the first time this season. Last year, the Jays went 8-2 in the Bronx, their first season with a winning record at Yankee Stadium since 2003.

The Blue Jays won three out of four in Minnesota thanks in large part to their solid pitching. The Jays held the Twins to three or fewer runs in three of the four games. Martin hit his first two home runs of the season, Michael Saunders also went deep and the Toronto Blue Jays broke out their big bats Wednesday night in halting the New York Yankees' six-game winning streak with an 8-4 victory.
