<p>Tulowitzki and Bautista each had a two-run shot, and Pillar belted a solo drive. Josh Donaldson drove in two runs the AL East-leading Blue Jays, raising his major league-leading total to 114 RBIs.</p>

Baltimore and Toronto are squaring off for the first time since June 21, when the Orioles took two of three to move percentage points ahead of the Blue Jays in the standings. Since then, the Blue Jays have gone 39-23 (.629) and the Orioles have gone 28-36 (.438).

The Blue Jays have allowed seven runs or fewer in all 42 games since the All-Star break, the longest streak in the majors this season and the longest streak in franchise history. The last AL team to allow seven runs or fewer in each of its first 42 games after the All-Star break was the 1980 Athletics (52 straight).

In 12 games against Toronto this season, Manny Machado is hitting .404 (19/47) with nine extra-base hits, 12 RBI and 11 runs scored. He has been even better in six games at Rogers Centre, hitting .542 (13/24) with 10 RBI and seven runs scored.

Troy Tulowitzki has hit just .242 in 31 games with the Blue Jays, but since his arrival on July 29, Josh Donaldson and Edwin Encarnacion are first and second in the AL in RBI (43, 36) and extra-base hits (25, 23).

Keeping opponents in the ballpark continues to be a major concern for Ubaldo Jimenez. In games in which he allows at least one home run, Jimenez is 3-8 with a 6.69 ERA (60 ER/80.2 IP). In games in which he does not allow a home run, Jimenez is 6-1 with a 1.49 ERA (11 ER/66.2 IP).
