The Tigers swept a three-game set on their last visit to Baltimore in May 2014. The O's have not lost four straight at home to the Tigers since doing so in August 2002 to May 2003.

The Orioles beat the Braves last night, 2-0, to extend their win streak to five games — they won six in a row from June 7-13, which is their longest streak of the season. Last night was their sixth home shutout of the season, tying the number they had over the entire 2014 campaign.

Ubaldo Jimenez struggled against the Detroit Tigers in his first start after the All-Star break but a return to Camden Yards - where he's often performed well - helped quickly put an end to his second-half funk.
He'll get to face the Tigers again Sunday this time in Baltimore, and there's a chance he could avoid facing J.D. Martinez in the Orioles' attempt at an eighth win in nine games.

BALTIMORE (AP)  Coming off two straight high-scoring games decided by a single run, the Baltimore Orioles were delighted with a victory devoid of anxiety and stress.
Caleb Joseph homered and drove in three runs, Kevin Gausman allowed four hits over seven innings and the Orioles cruised past the Detroit Tigers 6-2 on Saturday night.
