This will be the first meeting between the Blue Jays and Twins in 2015. Minnesota has won four of the last five games in this series.

Toronto is the only team in the majors yet to get shut out this season. The 49 consecutive games without getting shut out is the second-longest streak to open a season in franchise history; the Blue Jays went their first 78 games of the 1993 season without being blanked.
