The Astros took two of three games from the Rangers at Texas last month. They'll now play at Minute Maid Park, where Houston went 7-2 over the last nine meetings of 2014, after mustering a meager 3-20 home record versus the Rangers over the previous 23 games since 2009.

The Rangers pulled out an 8-7 victory over Oakland in 10 innings on Saturday, but followed with a 7-1 loss on Sunday. Texas is the only American League team that has not posted back-to-back wins at any point this season.

After sweeping four games from Seattle, the Astros have won 10 in a row, matching the fourth-longest streak in franchise history. At 18-7, the Astros boast their best record ever after 25 games.

Ross Detwiler Is coming off his best outing of 2015, when he allowed five hits and two runs over 5.1 innings against Seattle last Tuesday. Still, Detwiler's 8.66 ERA is the sixth highest among pitchers who have worked at least 15 innings, while his .366 average allowed is second highest (Mark Buehrle, .385).

Dallas Keuchel's 0.73 ERA is the lowest by any pitcher through their first five starts (relief appearances disregarded) of any season since Zack Greinke (0.50) and Chris Carpenter (0.62) in 2009. Keuchel's mark is the lowest ever by an Astro through five starts.

Jake Marisnick extended his hitting streak to 11 games with a single on Sunday. It's tied with Oakland's Josh Reddick for the second longest active streak in MLB, trailing only the Dodgers' Juan Uribe (12). Marisnick's longest previous hitting streak was eight games last September.
