The Rockies split two games with the Giants before having Sunday's game postponed due to rain. After winning its first six road games of 2015, Colorado visited the Dodgers April 17-19, and promptly dropped all three contests by a combined score of 20-6.

Arizona lost, 8-0, at home to the Pirates yesterday, getting swept three straight by the Bucs over the weekend by a combined score of 14-2. The D-backs have scored one or fewer runs six times this season -- tied with the Giants for second most in MLB (Phillies -- 7).

Colorado won each of the last four meetings with Arizona last season, and five of the two clubs' last six games overall. The Rockies and D-backs played nine games at Chase Field in 2014, with Arizona winning five of those contests.

Tyler Matzek allowed just two runs (both earned) in 5.0 innings six days ago against the Padres, garnering a no-decision for his performance. Matzek, who has surrendered two or fewer earned runs in nine straight starts, is 1-1 with a 2.25 ERA in two career starts against the D-backs (both of which were played at Chase Field).

Chase Anderson went 7.0 innings and allowed just one run (earned) in his latest outing against the Rangers last Tuesday, but was saddled with his third straight no-decision in the contest. Anderson has started four career games vs. the Rockies, and is 3-1 with a 3.52 ERA in those outings.

Troy Tulowitzki is batting .324 with a homer and five RBI on the road this season. Dating to the beginning of 2013, Tulowitzki is hitting .455 with two home runs and 10 RBI in his last 10 games vs. the D-backs at Chase Field.
