The Reds went 10-9 against Milwaukee for the second straight season in 2014. Cincinnati has not lost a season series to the Brewers since 2006. Beginning in 2007, the Reds are 74-57 overall versus Milwaukee.

The Reds opened the season with four straight wins, but have since lost seven of their past eight games. Cincinnati has totaled just four runs while dropping the last four in a row.

After getting swept at Pittsburgh this past weekend, Milwaukee has fallen to 2-10, the worst record in MLB. It's the first time in franchise history that the Brewers have reached 10 losses in 12 games or fewer. And it's the exact reversal of Milwaukee's 10-2 start in 2014.

Anthony DeSclafani sports a 1.38 ERA through his first two starts with Cincinnati. And in his first time through opposing lineups, DeSclafani has permitted no hits in 16 at-bats. Through 45 pitches, he's allowed just one hit in 22 at-bats (.045).

In his last three starts against the Reds (since 8/24/2013), Wily Peralta is 2-0 with a 0.90 ERA. A pair of home runs have accounted for the only two runs he's permitted, as Peralta has allowed no hits in 14 at-bats with runners in scoring position.

Joey Votto has reached base (via a hit, walk or HBP) at least twice in each of his last seven games, as well as in 10 games overall, matching the highest total in MLB (also Adrian Gonzalez and Prince Fielder). Votto currently ranks third in the National League with a .481 on-base percentage and second with a .727 slugging percentage.
