The Mets have won eight of their last 11 meetings overall with the Marlins, however, two of their three losses in that span have come at home against them.

After opening the season 1-6, the Marlins have now won each of their last two games. Miami has scored at least six runs in each of its three victories this season (24 total). The Mets will be looking to win five consecutive games for the first time since May of 2013.

Dillon Gee, who will be seeking his first win of the season, is 3-1 with a 2.45 ERA in his last five starts against the Marlins and has pitched 27 consecutive innings against them without allowing a home run.

Jarred Cosart, also in search of his first win of 2015, has faced the Mets just once in his career -- allowing two runs in six innings of a no-decision against them last September.
