The teams have alternated wins and losses over the nine games, with Seattle leading the all-time series 5-4. The last time the two teams squared off, June 24-26, 2011, was considered a Marlins home series but was played in Seattle due to a conflict with a U2 concert at the Marlins' then-home stadium Sun Life Stadium.
