Canada names starters for WBC

Team Canada named its three starting pitchers for the World Baseball Classic that begins March 8th, although the team has not decided which team they will pitch against.
Right-hander Chris Leroux, who pitched for the Pirates last season, right-hander Shawn Hill, who is presently in Tigers camp, and right-hander Scott Mathieson, who made four appearances with the Phillies in 2011 will face Italy, Mexico and the United States in the first round.
Starting pitchers are limited to only 65 pitches during first round play, with 80 allowed in the second round and 95 for the semifinals and finals.
