Mariners sign Jeremy Bonderman
The Seattle Mariners have signed pitcher Jeremy Bonderman to a minor-league deal according to a tweet from Buster Olney. The deal also includes an invitation to spring training. Bonderman hasn't pitched in the majors since 2010 when he started 29 games for the Detroit Tigers going 8-10 with a 5.53 ERA. After becoming a free agent, Bonderman went unsigned.
Bonderman's best year came in 2006 when he started 34 games for the Tigers and went 14-8 with an ERA of 4.08 with 202 strikeouts.
