Report: Red Sox, Napoli signing delayed due to hip problem

The Boston Red Sox have not yet officially announced the signing of free agent catcher / first baseman Mike Napoli due to a problem with one of his hips, according to Ken Rosenthal.
The Red Sox kick started this year's MLB Winter Meetings by signing Napoli to a three year, $39 million contract.
The Seattle Mariners reportedly had concerns this off season with his hip condition, as did his former team, the Texas Rangers.
Last season, Napoli hit .227 with 24 home runs in 108 games for the Rangers.
