Reports: Nationals trying to land Rays' Shields

The Washington Nationals have reportedly spoken to the Tampa Bay Rays about trying to trade for pitcher James Shields, according to CBS Sports.
The report also states that the Red Sox, Dodgers and Royals, among others, are also interested in the 30-year-old right-hander. Shileds went 15-10 with a 3.52 ERA for Tampa Bay last season. He boasts a career record of 87-73 with a 3.89 ERA and 1.22 WHIP.
