Yankees sign Mariano Rivera to one year deal

The New York Yankees and Mariano Rivera expect to complete a deal by Friday, according to Jayson Stark of ESPN.
The two parties have reportedly agreed to a one year deal, and are finalizing salary and incentive details. Last season, Rivera earned a base salary of $15 million. It is expected that his new deal will be $11-12 million in base salary and $15 million after incentives.
In 2012, Rivera appeared in nine games, recording five saves to go with a 0.96 WHIP and 2.16 ERA before tearing his ACL and missing the rest of the season.
