Phillies catcher Ruiz suspended for 25 games

Philadelphia Phillies Catcher Carlos Ruiz has been suspended for 25 games without pay after testing positive for Amphetamine, according to a tweet from MLB's official twitter account.

Ruiz made his first All-Star game in 2012, leading the majors with a .364 average at the half way point of the season. The 33-year-old finished the 2012 campaign with a slash line of .325/.394/.540.
