Rivera tells Yankees he'll be back in 2013

Mariano Rivera has informed Yankees general manager Brian Cashman that he does, indeed, plan to return next season, Cashman told the New York Post.
Rivera's return to the Yankees and Major League Baseball was in question after the 42-year-old suffered a torn ACL during the 2012 season, but those fears seem to have subsided, and Rivera and the team are expected to eventually come to terms on a one-year contract for the 2013 season.
