Blue Jays' Lawrie leaves game with rib cage tightness

Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Brett Lawrie left Friday night's game versus the Oakland Athletics with rib cage tightness. 

Lawrie, who was batting leadoff, left the game as a precaution after his at-bat in the first inning.  He was replaced at third base by Omar Vizquel.

Lawrie is batting .283 with 9 home runs and 40 RBI this season.
