Volquez earned a victory Monday against the Reds as he pitched five innings and allowed five runs, six hits and three walks to go along with five strikeouts.

Analysis: Volquez finally received some run support yesterday and was able to even his record at 7-7. He has a 3.51 ERA for the season, so his fantasy value would really improve if he could consistently get some run support. However, that would seem to be unlikely given the Padres' offense.
