Jays' Morrow to be placed on DL
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Brandon Morrow will be placed on the disabled list with a left oblique strain.
The 27-year old pitcher underwent tests on Tuesday, which confirmed the original diagnosis. Morrow was injured during Monday night's game versus the Nationals. He threw just nine pitches in the 1st inning before exiting.
Morrow is 7-4 with a 3.01 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 77 2/3 innings pitched this season.
