Rodrigo De Paul will be spending the next five months in Argentina.
On Thursday, Valencia announced an agreement was reached with Racing Club de Avellaneda that will see De Paul return to La Academia, the club from Buenos Aires where he was produced, until June 30.
De Paul, 21, joined Valencia from Racing Club in 2014 for a fee of €6.5 million, but has only tallied nine La Liga appearances this season, three of which were as a substitute. In Argentina, he will join compatriots Lisandro Lopez and Diego Milito in La Academia's bid to capture its second-ever Copa Libertadores title, and improve on its fourth-place finish in last year's Primera Division.
