Players who play for one of the best, if not the very best, clubs in the world, do what they can to stay there as long as possible. Barcelona certainly qualifies as such, and midfielder Rafinha knows it.
The club announced Monday that the 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder, who's in the midst of recovering from a torn ACL suffered earlier in the season, has decided to extend his stay at the Camp Nou for the foreseeable future.
The extension includes a mammoth €75-million buyout clause.
Rafinha has been with the club since he was 13, graduating through the famed La Masia academy. He said he was "very happy" to be remaining at the Camp Nou, which he described as his "home."
