Athletic Bilbao's Mikel Balenziaga suffers hamstring injury, will undergo additional tests

Athletic Bilbao's La Liga campaign got off to a rough start on Sunday.
Not only did the Basque club fall 1-0 to Barcelona despite putting in a resilient performance, but Mikel Balenziaga was also lost to injury.
Balenziaga injured himself while challenging for a ball with Luis Suarez, and he was subsequently replaced by Eneko Boveda. Athletic then confirmed after the fixture that the 27-year-old left-back suffered a muscle injury to his left hamstring and will undergo additional tests.
Next up for Athletic is a trip to Eibar on Aug. 30.
