Are Real Madrid in the process of swapping Casillas for Casilla?
The club is reportedly interested in signing goalkeeper Kiko Casilla from Espanyol to round-out their bench following the departure of Iker Casillas to FC Porto, according to Reuters.
Espanyol president Joan Collet revealed the two clubs have already discussed a transfer fee for the 28-year-old, but have yet to come to an agreement.
"I told Real Madrid that Kiko is worth more than €4m (£2.8m)," Collet said. "We are at €4m and for the time being we cannot accept it."
If the transfer is agreed, it will be a coming home of sorts for Casilla after coming through Real Madrid's youth academy before opting to join Espanyol in 2007.
