Report: Benfica's Nicolas Gaitan chosen to fill gap at Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid is reportedly looking to assign its soon-to-be-available No. 10 to Nicolas Gaitan of Benfica.
According to Marca, Gaitan is Atleti's choice to replace the outgoing Arda Turan, whose agent, Ahmet Bulut, confirmed his client's decision to leave the Vicente Calderon on Wednesday.
Back in November, Gaitan, who is indisputably one of Benfica's most valuable players and who notched four goals though 27 Liga Sagres appearances last season, agreed to a contract extension through 2018 that includes a release clause of €35 million, a figure that is apparently already agreed upon between the presidents of both clubs.
