Luis Enrique: Iniesta injury doesn't look serious

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique was encouraged that the injury Andres Iniesta suffered Wednesday is not as serious as originally expected.

The Spanish midfielder was forced to leave the team's quarterfinal match against Paris Saint-Germain on a stretcher following a hard collision in the second half.

"Andres took what looks like a very hard blow. We will wait to see what the doctors in Barcelona say but it doesn't seem to be anything too serious," Enrique told reporters after Barca's 3-1 victory.

Iniesta, who captained Barcelona on the night, looked to be in serious pain after appearing to get hit in the back by Javier Pastore's knee, forcing him to make way for Xavi eight minutes after halftime.

If tests on his back produce a positive outcome, Barcelona could elect to rest Iniesta Saturday against Valencia and save him for the second leg against PSG on April 21.
