Karim Benzema praises Ronaldo after 5-goal game: 'Cristiano is a phenomenon'
Cristiano Ronaldo is great, and Karim Benzema knows it.
The Frenchman, speaking after his teammate notched five goals in Sunday's 9-1 annihilation of Granada, was full of praise for the Portuguese superstar.
"Cristiano is a phenomenon, he is always looking for goals and ways to help the team. He deserves everything he has achieved," Benzema, who scored two goals of his own on the day, told Real Madrid's official website.
The striker also addressed the form of the club's vaunted 'BBC' forward line, comprised of himself, Ronaldo and the oft-criticized Gareth Bale - who also found the net Sunday.
"Him (Ronaldo), Bale and me, we're in good form, like always. We're helping the team and sometimes we score and other times we don't, but we're in good shape to continue like that until the end of the season.''
