VIDEO: Cristiano Ronaldo's powerful header seals victory for Real Madrid

Real Madrid found their scoring touch in the second half following a scoreless opening 45 minutes.

Following Karim Benzema's goal to open the scoring, Cristiano Ronaldo all-but captured the victory against Elche with a perfect header past the 'keeper.

Elche defenders did a remarkably poor job of marking one of the world's greatest players, as Ronaldo had acres of space to leap up and smash his header into the back of the net to double Real Madrid's lead.

 The win gives them a four-point cushion following Barcelona's loss to Malaga on Saturday.
