Although Villarreal's equalising goal was world class, it was all thanks to a series of Barcelona mistakes.

Luis Suarez could have given Barcelona an opportunity to go on a counter-attack, but instead saw his lazy pass get intercepted by Manuel Trigueros.

Trigueros went on to make the hosts pay as his ambitious effort from almost 30 yards out swiveled in the air and batted off Marc-Andre ter Stegen's right hand and into the net. 

The tie, however, was short-lived as Andres Iniesta lifted Barcelona into the lead.
