Jamie McMurray: Becoming NASCAR Analyst
Veteran NASCAR driver and 2010 DAYTONA 500 champion McMurray has landed his next full-time ride. McMurray joins FOX Sports for the 2019 season as a NASCAR analyst for NASCAR RACE HUB, the sport's most-watched daily show, and NASCAR RACEDAY, among other duties, FOX Sports reports.
Analysis:
McMurray will make one more start for Ganassi in next season's Daytona 500, piloting the No. 40 Chevrolet. From there, the veteran will continue to work a managerial role within CGR. McMurray will also do some television work with his newly-announced analyst gig on Race Hub and Raceday. The 2003 Rookie of the Year is one of only three drivers to have won the Daytona 500 and the Brickyard 400 in a single season.
