Lionel Messi's father has a message for Barcelona fans: relax.

Addressing recent reports that the Barcelona superstar is unhappy at the club - which spawned after the player himself surprisingly told Argentine newspaper Ole that a future move is not an impossibility - Jorge Messi said there is nothing for Barcelona fans to be worried about ... at the moment.

"As of today there is nothing at all," Jorge told Mundo Deportivo. "The thought is to stay here, but as people read between lines there is exaggeration. Leo is happy, but it is clear that if tomorrow the club says, 'we have this offer, we want to sell you,' well then we would have to study it. But as of today, we are not even thinking about that."

Lionel, 27, signed a contract extension with the only club he's ever known this past summer. That deal, which pays him roughly €20 million ($25 million) per season and ties him to the Camp Nou until 2018, contains a mammoth €250 million ($313.2 million) release clause which would need to be met before any other team could pry him away from Spain.
