With Carlos Puyol and Victor Valdes no longer at Barcelona, the upcoming campaign will see some changes at the Catalan club in regards to captaincy.
Puyol and Valdes were the first captain and third captain last season, respectively, and following a vote between all the members of Barca's first team on Tuesday, the four captains for 2014-15 were established.
Specifically, Xavi Hernandez will assume the role of Barca's first captain following six seasons of experience as the team's second captain.
Being promoted to second captain is Andres Iniesta, while newcomers to the role Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets will be Barca's third captain and fourth captain.
