Ronaldo avoids yellow card in cheeky fashion

Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo thought he was clear through on goal in an eventual 3-1 win against Osasuna, but was rightly adjudged offside by the linesman; still, the Portugal star opted to try to finish the chance, an act that often merits a yellow card.
But Ronaldo avoided punishment by pointing to the crowd at El Sadar Stadium, gesturing that he couldn't hear the referee's whistle due to the noise. The referee nodded in understanding and carried on with play.
The infamous World Cup-winker then proceeded to stick his tongue out toward the crowd with his back to the referee, his clever ruse bought hook, line, and sinker.
