Giovinco shrugs off Barcelona interest: 'I'd have been a ball boy there'
Once upon a time, not too long ago, Toronto FC star Sebastian Giovinco was linked with a move to Spanish giant FC Barcelona, but amid interest from China after another strong MLS regular-season campaign, the Atomic Ant says he's not interested in a move to La Liga.
Giovinco told Sky Sports Italia he wouldn't make a move to Camp Nou because of the limited role he would have had under Luis Enrique.
"It's true, in the past there was interest from Barcelona, but I'd have been a ball boy there," Giovinco said, as quoted by Selene Scarsi from ESPN FC. "With those three stars in attack, I wouldn't play at all.

"I wasn't interested because I wanted to play. Neymar, Leo Messi, and Luis Suarez would've played even with one leg and still made the difference, so there was no point in me being there."
The former Juventus forward has enjoyed two successful campaigns with the Reds since making his MLS move in 2015 and has been linked with a mega-money move to China according to his agent, Andrea D'Amico.
