Once in a while, Alexandre Pato revives the hope that he is yet to peak, even at 27 years of age.
On Friday, Pato produced a phenomenal performance at Sporting de Gijon and ended his scoring in the process, capping off a wonderful passing sequence in the 74th minute as Villarreal inflicted a 3-1 victory on the Asturian club.
The Brazilian underachiever hadn't scored in five La Liga appearances, last finding the back of the net in the Yellow Submarine's win over Osasuna on Sept. 25.
