Everton has turned its attention to Spain in an attempt to strengthen its attacking unit.
Deportivo La Coruna forward Lucas Perez is the latest player linked with a move to the Merseyside as Everton aim to provide support up front for Romelu Lukaku, according to Phil McNulty of the BBC
Perez won't come cheap, as Deportivo is reportedly demanding a transfer fee worth up to £15 million to complete the move.
The 27-year-old could prove to be an impactful signing after finding the back of the net 17 times in 36 La Liga appearances last season. He also scored the winner in Deportivo's season opener when he converted a penalty late in Friday's 2-1 triumph over Eibar.
An arrival alongside Lukaku, who confirmed his desire to stay at Goodison Park to manager Ronald Koeman, has the potential provide the Toffees with a legitimate scoring source outside of the Belgian striker.
