Barcelona has extended the contract durations of Munir El Haddadi and Sergi Samper until 2019, and has written some lofty release clauses into their respective deals, the club announced Tuesday.

Munir, 20, will pen fresh terms that - barring an acceptance of an offer from Barca - only allow him to speak with clubs that trigger a €60-million fee. The 21-year-old Samper, meanwhile, has his minimum fee release clause set at €50 million.

Samper's agreement includes the option of an additional year, which would take him to the conclusion of the 2019-20 season.

Although Munir took an unorthodox route to La Masia via his hometown of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, both are products of Barca's famed academy system. Samper has been on the book since the age of 6.

Given the squad at manager Luis Enrique's disposal, it's no surprise that the pair have found it difficult to make an impression in the starting XI. Their renewal is evidence, however, of how highly regarded they are in the Basque region.

Barcelona begins its warmup matches for the 2016-17 campaign against Celtic at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on July 30.
