Barcelona will sign another attacker, says technical secretary

Apparently, having Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar isn't enough.

Fielding questions during the unveiling of new left-back Lucas Digne during a press conference on Thursday, Barcelona technical secretary Robert Fernandez provided a window into the club's transfer plans, saying that "an attacker will join."

Though no specifics were alluded to, Fernandez did say that age would play a key role in the search.

"We are analysing it and we will not delay in deciding what we will do, which will be the best for the Club," he said.

The insistence on signing young talent would meld well with the club's transfer dealings so far this summer, as Barcelona has already secured the signatures of Digne, Samuel Umtiti, and Denis Suarez. All three players are 22 years old.

Of course, any attacker who arrives at the Camp Nou will need to be content playing fourth fiddle in the pecking order, as the Holy Trinity of Messi, Suarez, and Neymar - who combined for 90 La Liga goals last season - aren't being displaced any time soon.
