Reuters

This is not the place for legitimate reports and completed deals. Here, we compile the ludicrous transfer rumours that arise during this month of madness in the football world. Each day until the summer transfer window shuts, theScore will provide a rundown of the most outlandish babble from the backpages, briefing you on the transfer gossip throughout Europe.

Here's what the rumour mill is churning out today:

Balotelli's Turkey-bound

Mario Balotelli has been offered an escape from Liverpool after his loan deal with AC Milan expired at the end of the Serie A season.

The Italian's agent, Mino Raiola, has offered Balotelli to Besiktas and is waiting for a response, according to Turkish outlet Fotomac.

Raiola cited the team's past interest in Balotelli, saying Besiktas "did everything to sign him" during previous transfer windows.

Chelsea in talks with Marseille's Mandanda

Chelsea has apparently identified a backup for Thibaut Courtois, with the Premier League side discussing a move for Steve Mandanda.

Club officials are discussing terms with the out-of-contract 'keeper as the west London side prepares for Asmir Begovic's exit, reports The Guardian's Dominic Fifield.

Lewandowski considering Bayern exit

A move away from Bayern Munich could be on the horizon for Robert Lewandowski.

The Polish striker is said to have grown frustrated with the German champions and is eager to find a new club this summer, and he's particularly interested in a move to the Premier League, reports Ian Ladyman of the Daily Mail.

The transfer fee, however, is expected to be astronomical after Lewandowski led all scorers in the Bundesliga with 30 goals. The usual suspects - Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea - are expected to throw their names into the hat.

Guardiola targeting Nolito

Celta Vigo striker Nolito could be coming to the Premier League. The Spanish international is being targeted by new Manchester City gaffer Pep Guardiola, according to The Sun, as he attempts to reshuffle the team ahead of his first season at the Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola previously worked with Nolito when the striker was a member of Barcelona's reserve team during the manager's stint at the Camp Nou.

The 29-year-old is expected to cost City £14 million.

Juventus wants £50 million for Bonucci

Team interested in Leonardo Bonucci might have to break the bank to convince Juventus to sell the talented defender.

The Italian champion is apparently demanding a transfer fee in the region of £50 million to consider selling the centre-back, reports Italian paper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Bonucci, 29, has won several major trophies since signing with Juventus in 2010. His performances earned him a place in the Italian national team, and his work in the back helped Italy upset Belgium with a 2-0 win.
