Iniesta equals Puyol with 593rd appearance for Barcelona
Far apart when it comes to the length of their hair, Andres Iniesta and Carles Puyol couldn't be more equal when it comes to appearances for Barcelona.
By virtue of taking the pitch in Sunday's Copa del Rey final against Sevilla, Iniesta made his 593rd appearance for the Blaugrana, joining former teammate Puyol for second on the Catalan club's all-time list.
Only Xavi Hernandez, with 767 appearances for Barcelona, has donned the Blaugrana's red-and-blue shirt on more occasions.

Both Iniesta and Puyol are graduates of Barcelona's La Masia, but the former boasts more trophies than the latter as the Catalan centre-back retired after the 2013-14 season. Since then, the Blaugrana has captured the Treble in 2014-15 and won the 2015 UEFA Super Cup, the 2015 Club World Cup, and the 2015-16 La Liga.
