Simeone ejected after Atletico bench throws ball onto pitch to stop Malaga attack

With a place atop the Liga standings at stake, the Atletico Madrid bench took matters into their own hands during a Malaga counter-attack.
As the visitors surged into the Atletico end, an unknown member from the Rojiblancos launched a second ball onto the pitch, coming just feet away from striking Ricardo Horta in mid-stride.
Even though he doesn't appear to be the culprit who threw the ball onto the pitch, the match official forced Atletico manager Diego Simeone to watch the rest of the match from the stands.
