Sorensen calls time on Denmark career

Copenhagen, Denmark (Sports Network) - One day after Christian Poulsen retired from national team duty, Denmark loses another staple as goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen called time on his international career on Tuesday.

Sorensen, 36, revealed via his twitter account that he has decided to end his time with the Danish national team 13 years after making his debut.

"I have today made the announcement that I am finishing my international career," Sorensen tweeted. "So proud to have represented Denmark 101 times. Time of my life."
