West Ham signs Nigeria striker Obinna

London, England (Sports Network) - West Ham acquired Nigeria striker Victor Obinna on a season-long loan deal from Inter Milan on Friday.

The 23-year-old Obinna, who spent last season on loan with Spain's Malaga, is the sixth summer signing for West Ham. The Hammers have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

West Ham previously signed Pablo Barrera, Thomas Hitzlsperger, Tal Ben Haim, Frederic Piquionne and Winston Reid.

The Hammers visit Manchester United on Saturday.
