Harvin back with Vikings after hospital stay
Eden Prairie, MN (Sports Network) - Minnesota Vikings wideout Percy Harvin was on the practice field in street clothes on Friday after an overnight stay in the hospital following a sideline collapse Thursday.
Following Friday's practice, Vikings head coach Brad Childress said that Harvin will not travel with the team for Sunday's preseason game in San Francisco.
This all comes about 24 hours after Harvin, who suffers from severe migraines, was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
On Thursday, Childress said that Harvin looked up in the sky on a punt return and started to have problems. After jogging in to see team trainers, Harvin came back out to the field to watch practice from the sideline and had what Childress said was an episode. The Star Tribune reported Harvin vomited before falling to the ground.
The 5-foot-11, 184-pound Harvin missed some practices and one game last season because of migraines. He caught 60 passes for 790 yards and six touchdowns in 2009, his rookie season.
