Chris and Kyle Long are two of the more active Twitter users among NFL players, but when the first-round playoff series between the NHL's St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks is decided, one of them will be forced to give up their tweeting rights for a month.
That was the wager posed by Chris on Thursday night before the first game of the series got underway.
As a defensive lineman for the Rams, Chris's allegiance is to the Blues. Kyle, the Bears' 2013 first-round pick, is rooting for the Blackhawks.
Unfortunately for Kyle, St. Louis drew first blood with Alex Steen scoring the game-winning goal 26 seconds into triple overtime to give the Blues a 4-3 victory.
He wasn't overly concerned, though.
Chris, on the other hand, was feeling pretty confident.
