You may remember former Major League outfielder Jeff Francoeur from such films as the month-long prank his El Paso teammates pulled on him and his first appearance as a relief pitcher, in which he tossed a perfect inning.
Well, our favorite journeyman is at it again. Francoeur threw yet another scoreless inning for the San Diego Padres Triple-A affiliate in his fourth appearance as a reliever this season.
Here's the video evidence of his dominance.
Francoeur is hitting just .216/.243/.366 in 33 games for the Chihuahuas, but the 30-year-old has not allowed an earned run in his 3 1/3 innings of relief while striking out three, walking none and allowing just two hits.
Small sample size, sure, but Francoeur has certainly reinvented himself on the mound.
