Report: Spurs have interest in Josh Smith

According to a source for Yahoo! Sports, the San Antonio Spurs may have interest in Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Smith.

In Marc Spears' power rankings today, he had this to say about the 12th ranked Hawks.

"The Spurs are among the teams with interest in Hawks forward Josh Smith, a source told Yahoo! Sports. Keep in mind, Hawks general manager Danny Ferry was previously with the Spurs."

Smith, an unrestricted free agent next summer, has averaged 17.1 points per game this season in 47 games.

The Spurs are currently 41-12, first overall in the Western Conference.
