Strasburg wants to pitch 200 plus innings

After a trying season that ended far too early for his liking, Nationals Pitcher Stephen Strasburg wants to be a workhorse in the rotation.
Speaking with ESPN’s Buster Olney, Strasburg indicated pitching more than 200 innings was one of his goals. Last year Nats GM Mike Rizzo shut down Strasburg in September. The 24-year-old ace was forced to watch his team fall to the Cardinals in the NLDS from the bench.
After a busy off-season, which included the arrivals of Rafael Soriano, Dan Haren and Denard Span, the Nationals are considered strong favourites in the NL East.
