Blues place Jaroslav Halak on IR
The St. Louis Blues have placed goalie Jaroslav Halak on injured reserve with a groin injury. He's expected to miss at least the next two games.

On the season, Halak has gone 3-0-0 with a a 2.10 GAA, including two shutouts.
Backup Brian Elliott, an All-Star last season, will likely start Tuesday against the Nashville Predators.
