Canucks' Luongo to start vs. Hawks

The Vancouver Canucks announced that goalie Roberto Luongo will start Friday night against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Luongo gets the start tomorrow.

Luongo posted his first shutout of the season Wednesday night, making 24 saves against the Colorado Avalanche.

On the season, Luongo has appeared in four games, posting a 1.61 GAA and .938 save percentage. Cory Schneider, who was supposed to see most of the action as the starter netminder this season, has struggled to start this shorten season, posting a 3.13 GAA in four games.
